Guilty Planet
About
Guilty planet seeks to reason amidst the irrational madness of destroying one's only home. MAD magazine-inspired critical thinking coupled with concern for our environment led to the blogger, Jennifer Jacquet's participation in ScienceBlogs, a colorful outcrop of science and culture. Unlike the gap-toothed Alfred E. Neuman, she is concerned for the future for the planet and its voiceless inhabitants. contributes to a discussion on how to conserve our global commons with a MAD spirit and with gracious contributions from science and supporters. So, welcome to guilty planet where we will seek reason amidst the irrational madness of destroying one's only home.
She is a postdoctoral research fellow working with Dr. Daniel Pauly and the Sea Around Us Project at the UBC Fisheries Centre.
