SAAFhouse Spay Neuter Clinic - Springfield, MO
About
Inexpensive spay and neuter for dogs and cats in Springfield, MO.
SAAF is a nonprofit organization devoted to ending pet overpopulation in the Ozarks. Our services are intended for pet owners who could not otherwise afford to have their animals spayed or neutered. Please use the services of a private veterinarian if you can afford to do so.
Each animal receives two types of pain medication and a small ink tattoo on the abdomen to identify that it has been altered.
In addition to spay/neuter, the clinic also provides vaccines but only at the time of surgery. These include rabies and combo vaccines plus feline leukemia and bordatella (kennel cough). Limited medical testing is also available for heartworm and feline leukemia.
Rabies shots are required for all animals over the age of 4 months. Rabies shots are included in the surgery fee. If your pet is current on its Rabies shot, the certificate must be provided at the time of drop off.
