Back when I started out my motto was "Positive discrimination for white wines" and to a large extent, that's still true. But I just don't think that really defines the 2GrandCru blog so much these days (although white wines rule, in case no one's noticed). What does define it, for better or for worse, is a an "outsider fan" stance. I'm not a professional writer, so I don't really have to do technical, grocery-list type reviews and I sure don't have write essays about wine regions and varieties that you readers can just Google.
